Piano Concerto Festival
The 6th Piano Concerto Festival continues the tradition of excellence established in previous editions, gathering over 40 talented pianists from around the world for a week of masterclasses, rehearsals, and public performances with orchestra.
Hosted in Paris, the festival takes place at the Conservatoire municipal de musique de Courbevoie, offering young and developing pianists the opportunity to perform one movement of a piano concerto with a professional orchestra of approximately 37 musicians. The festival is open to piano students of all ages, with a basic video selection process.
Each participant will receive:
- 2 individual masterclasses with internationally acclaimed faculty
- 40 minutes with the orchestra in total (rehearsal and performance)
- A professional recording produced by world-class music producer Chris Craker
- Festival-wide observer pass granting access to masterclasses and festival activities

Participants are encouraged to choose one movement from any piano concerto written for chamber or symphonic orchestra, including works by:

• Robert Schumann – Piano Concerto in A minor, Op.54
• Franz Liszt – Piano Concertos Nos.1 & 2, Totentanz
• Felix Mendelssohn – Piano Concerto No.1 in G minor, Op.25; No.2 in D minor, Op.40
• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Piano Concerto No.1 in B-flat minor, Op.23
• Sergei Rachmaninoff – Piano Concertos Nos.1–4
• Camille Saint-Saëns – Piano Concertos Nos.2 & 5
• Edvard Grieg – Piano Concerto in A minor, Op.16
• Sergei Prokofiev – Piano Concertos Nos.1–3
Other concertos written for standard orchestra may also be considered upon faculty approval.

The participation fee includes:
- 40 minutes with the orchestra (in total)
